RPCV/W will be honoring India and 50 years of the Peace Corps through a photo exhibition with light refreshments
Richard Kennedy-Photojournalist
From 1966-1968, Richard Kennedy spent time as a young Peace Corps volunteer in India working with the farmers of Rampur-Maniharan district, 100 miles north of New Delhi. Forty years later he returned to India with his wife, a ceramic artist, Becky Gray and his daughter Katelin Kennedy. These photographs are from that journey, which was not only a journey reminiscence for him but also an opportunity to share his experience with his wife and daughter. He presently works at photojournalism discovering and documenting innovative ideas and vibrant places.
