Outstanding Community Service
The Loret Miller Ruppe Award recognizes outstanding work by NPCA affiliate groups and includes a $1,000 award to support continued impact. It highlights initiatives and projects that can inspire and serve as models for other groups. Eligible projects are those completed within the past two years or ongoing for at least three years.
This award honors initiatives that:
- Increase Americans’ understanding of other cultures and peoples
- Continue to serve host countries
- Build cooperation between communities
- Promote service and volunteerism
The award will be presented at Peace Corps Connect 2026, July 18–19 in Washington, D.C.
