Comedy Show to Protect our Peace (Corps)

Peace these days is as common as a summer forecast that’s actually accurate. It rarely is, and just when you think it’s on the right track, it turns out to be a tease and can really mess up your plans.

Grassroots Comedy has seen enough of the lack of peace. So we’re responding the only way we know how: with a night of hilarious stand-up that also supports a great peace-promoting cause. Join us for the Comedy Show to Protect our Peace (Corps), benefitting the Return Peace Corps Volunteers of Washington, DC (RPCV/W).

Your participation helps keep RPCV/W strong and connected. Proceeds directly support member-driven initiatives, as well as cherished traditions and operations—like the annual wreath-laying ceremony, event deposits and supplies, board activities, and maintaining the website and CRM. Together, we can ensure RPCV/W continues to thrive and provide meaningful opportunities for Returned Peace Corps Volunteers in the D.C. area, and best enable them to continue to make the world a more peaceful place.

We’ll be at The Festival Center for a night of laughter from hilarious comedians with global perspectives that’s equal parts hilarious and heartfelt. Show up, laugh loud, and help keep the Peace Corps spirit alive and well in our community.
