Eligible projects are those completed within the past two years or ongoing for at least three years. \n\n\n\nThis award honors initiatives that: \n\n\n\n\nIncrease Americans’ understanding of other cultures and peoples\n\n\n\nContinue to serve host countries\n\n\n\nBuild cooperation between communities\n\n\n\nPromote service and volunteerism\n\n\n\n\nThe award will be presented at Peace Corps Connect 2026\, July 18–19 in Washington\, D.C. \n\n\n\n*For a complete overview\, please read the 2026 Ruppe Award Nomination Criteria.* \n\n\n\nApplications are due May 17\, 2026.
